Wee Scottish Lassie supports Armed Forces Spouses, Veterans and the Community into employment.  We can also provide coaching if you are interested in volunteering or business start-up.

Wee Scottish Lassie is a facilitator.  We make meaningful connections and facilitate links on behalf of employers and job seekers, voluntary organisations and those seeking to volunteer and entrepreneurs and those that can offer guidance.  In essence we are the glue that connects everyone together.

Wee Scottish Lassie is set up as a community interest company (C.I.C.), where profits are reinvested back into the business for the good of its customers and the community.

We work in partnership with other organisations to facilitate training and offer skills development that supports success.

Military Co-working Hubs are popping up all over the country.

“As head of the Submarine Service, I warmly applaud the excellent work that Nicky is doing. In 2019 we will see more submarines arriving on the Clyde and initiatives such as Nicky’s are vital in helping us to make the transition for those families who make the move into the area as smooth as possible.”
John Weale, CB OBE
Rear Admiral Submarines
"Nicky gives me the confidence to achieve and the support to be the very best I can be”.
Amanda Grant
Manager, Age UK
“It’s fantastic to have this resource opening in Helensburgh” Jackie says “with Nicky’s support and the hub facility it’s going to make it so much easier for spouses and local employers to advertise their jobs directly to the navy community and also to access the skills and services that military spouses have to offer.”
Jackie Baillie
“I've had the pleasure of supporting Nicky for several years now as her coach and mentor. During this time I've found her to thrive on delivering high quality, accurate results. She is happy to question actions and behaviours in a quest to achieve "better" and is deliberately consistent in her approach.

Nicky has a creative and enthusiastic approach and a charmingly persuasive manner. She is caring, patient and able to encourage colleagues and clients towards improved outcomes.

It's been a pleasure to support Nicky so far, I hope that continues, and would encourage anybody who values the qualities mentioned above to engage with her..
Cameron Thomson
CEO, Leader Footdown Scotland
"Nicky has helped me more than I thought possible! I came to Helensburgh almost 2 months ago having left my job in Newcastle
and she has and is giving me so much support in looking for employment I would be lost without her.
Lyndsey Williamson
Job Seeker, Helensburgh
